Showdown on Wall Street

Over 10,000 people brought Main Street to Wall Street today in a march, led by the AFL-CIO and National People’s Action (NPA). Working families and community members mobilized one of the largest gatherings ever organized against big banks, calling for accountability, job creation and an end to predatory lending practices from Wall Street institutions like Bank of America, Wells Fargo, JP Morgan Chase and Goldman Sachs.

Goerge Goehl of National People's Action lays out why were taking on Wall Street and Big Banks:

Earlier that day, over 400 people from National People's Action entered the lobby to deliver a letter to CEO Jamie Dimon that asked him to sit down and negotiate with NPA.  Security brought down a Chase executive who took the letter from NPA's leadership team and promised that Jamie Dimon would get it and that he  would follow up with us to schedule a meeting.

When and how is a megabank

When and how is a megabank going to be classified as "too big". As I understand it, the only control over the size of the megabanks per the existing bills awaiting recociliat
ion is that a "council" or govenment board of some testking 642-374  kind would be created. Their task would be to keep an eye on these banks and, if somehow alerted, the Council, etc. would schedule a meeting to testking 70-290 determine if that size is a threat to the financial structure of the Country. Only then would action be taken. WHAT IS LACKING is that this provision does not CONTAIN ANY QUANTIFIABLE PARAMENTER which would set off the alarm. This Council could go to sleep just like the testking 646-364 fed oil rig regulators went to sleep. During the sleep ALL H-- can break loose in the financial community. Titanic damage man have testking 70-667 ocurred before any move to "wind down".

Let's Stop Becoming a Fascist State

It's about stinking time. I wish I could have been there. We need to take our country back from big business and big brother.

Press Coverage

News media coverage of this event will be a test of who shows and no shows! It says a lot about who runs our socio-economic system. The media who fail to appear can be erased from your minds as credible from here on. March on! Wish I could be there with you all.

Wall Street Rally

Wish I lived closer, I'd come too! I hope it hits MAINSTREAM media all across the country, and loud and clear in the ears of the executives who have been living it up at the expense of the middle and lower classes. I hope the financial reform freight train whistles the swindlers right out of their cushy jobs.
