Meet Virginia Holwell. Like many of us, Virgina fell victim to the economic downturn caused by Wall Street and Big Banks.

Virginia worked for the state of Illinois for 30 years but was laid off last summer. She thought she would have another 10 years of work to pay off her mortgage, but instead, she is out of work and struggling to make payments on her modest Peoria home.
 
Virginia wants to stay in her home and is the ideal candidate for a mortgage modification but her bank, JP Morgan Chase, is unwilling to negotiate and will foreclose on her soon if things don't change. 

What did Virginia do to deserve this type of treatment?

Virginia didn't crash the economy. She didn't create tax havens in foreign countries to avoid paying taxes back to our states. And, she didn't slash small business lending by 75% this past year when our country needs it the most. JPMorgan Chase did.

It's time for big banks like JPMorgan Chase to pay their fare share of taxes, stop foreclosing on families and get small business lending moving again so we can all get back to work again.
